We all have food cravings, especially when it’s seasonal or cold out. Maybe you’re a little reminiscent of family meals past. Either way, this class will give you the tools to create three masterful comfort food dishes. Learn how to turn traditional favorites into healthy and delicious plant based family favorites you’ll keep making long after this class. This NEW cooking class is family friendly and hands on. We’ll teach children and adults cooking skills and recipes that ignite creativity, build self-esteem, and most importantly teach healthy eating habits. Class welcomes children all ages into the kitchen alongside their parents/ family for hands-on, fun cooking. 

We’ll measure, mix, peel, chop, dice and prepare Air-fry Egg Rolls, Soba Noodle dish, and Pineapple Fried Rice, then eat together as a group. Join plant-based Chef Amberlea Childs as we inspire the next generation together in the kitchen.

The air fryer is quite trendy right now and for a few good reasons. Reason 1: is for health and Reason 2: is for crunchy food without the oil and fat. It cooks fast by circulating hot air around the food, this rapid circulation makes food crispy and delicious.

This class will demonstrate 3 plant based recipes: Zucchini fries, Egg Rolls, and a rocking Veggie Calzone. Participants will dine and leave with handouts.

Soup is savory and warms the heart. This class will highlight seasonal and root veggies for soup and an electric pressure cooker, known as an Instant Pot. Join us to learn how to make soup creamy and hearty without dairy, and cholesterol.

Yes, foods can fight cancer! This class will discuss foods that prevent disease, foods to avoid and new recipes to practice.  We’ll share the science on food and cancer then watch a video how certain diet patterns have a major effect in preventing cancer or helping cancer survivors live longer. Cancer Survivor and Food for Life Instructor will demo and share three plant based cancer fighting recipes. Join the discussion not happening at your doctor’s office… FOOD!
