Cooking classes are one of the best ways to learn how to improve your game in the kitchen.  If you want to make yummy meals, you have to get in the kitchen. So, start here and sign up for a class. Tofu is protein packed versatile food that can be used from breakfast to dinner and is good for you! It is made from soybeans and has many health benefits. If you are eating a plant-based diet, or trying to incorporate more low fat, protein sources into your diet, this class is for you. In addition, tofu is full of vitamins, minerals, fiber and good fat. This class will demo three tofu recipes and show you how easy tofu can become a staple in your kitchen. We are even making dessert!

Soup is savory and warms the heart. This class will highlight seasonal veggies for soup and an electric pressure cooker, known as an Instant Pot. We’ll make a one pot meal, and a creamy bisque then sit together for a lunch to celebrate our efforts. I’ll even send you home with soup to go.

Every day we see another study drawing the connection between food and disease closer. Certain diet patterns have a major effect in helping cancer survivors to live longer, and healthier lives. This cancer class will discuss power foods to eat for cancer prevention and foods to eat before, during and after a cancer diagnosis. Class will demo three plant-based nutritious recipes: Rustic white bean spread, Italian bean soup and chocolate mousse and included the nutrition handouts on the science behind why certain foods are powerful fighters against disease. SATURDAY, 2/16 —- Kickstart ImmersionKickstart wide

Either way, this class will give you the tools to create three masterful comfort food dishes. Learn how to turn traditional favorites into healthy and delicious plant based family favorites you’ll keep making long after this class. Today the Instant Pot is a hot craze and this class will demonstrate how to use to create quick and easy meals. Pressure-cooking cooks food faster, it saves energy and it saves nutrients. We will demo three plant-based recipes using a traditional pressure cooker and an electric. Attendees will learn cooking in bulk, time saving tips, and how plant foods can prevent and reverse some diseases.

We will discuss simple steps to making your own salad dressings, quick dips, and a red marinara sauce. We will dine on vegan Caesar salad and pasta with marinara sauce. This is a hands on class so come prepared to get in the mix. You will leave with many new plant based recipes to keep your fridge stocked year round.
