MONDAY, 7/15/19 — Sauces, Dips and Dressings (HANDS ON)
Why spend a fortune stocking your fridge with dressings you barely use. This class is back to the basics, the basic needs for your kitchen table. We’ll discuss simple steps to making your own salad dressings, quick cheese dips, and a red marinara sauce. We’ll dine on vegan Caesar salad and pasta with marinara sauce. This is a hands on class so come prepared to get in the mix. You’ll leave with many new plant based recipes to keep your fridge stocked year round.

TUESDAY 7/30/19 — How Foods Fight Cancer
Every day we see another study drawing the connection between food and disease closer. Certain diet patterns have a major effect in helping cancer survivors to live longer, and healthier lives. This cancer class will discuss power foods to eat for cancer prevention and foods to eat before, during and after a cancer diagnosis. Class will demo 3 plant-based nutritious recipes: Low fat Guacamole, Mango Salsa, Calabacitas Tacos with air-fried chips.
